Our school focuses on life skills for children. Kids are required to keep their grades up (or improve). Feedback from teachers and parents are required at every belt level.
The adult focus is on technique, fitness, and self defense.

Master Michael Grazier has been teaching kids and adults martial arts for 25 years. He was awarded a silver medal in Olympic Sparring from the 1996 AAU California State Championships.
He holds a 5th Degree Black Belt from the Korean Kukiwon organization, and a 1st Degree Black Belt in Hapkido from the Korean Hapkido Federation.
Before opening his own school, Master Grazier taught at several schools in the Bay Area. He currently runs an after school program at Bancroft Middle School.

Annie has worked with a variety of ages and fitness levels, and can help you reach your fitness goal. Annie offers techniques such as circuit training, plyometrics, flexibility, and joint stability. She believes that myofascial release, mobility work, and corrective exercise are the necessary first step to succeed.

1 Kick Up Martial Arts is a martial arts training school focusing on Taekwondo and Hapkido (self defense classes). We offer group classes or private lessons for ages 3 and up. We also include Olympic Sparring and tournament preparation. We are a World Taekwondo Federation school.
Taekwondo is a Korean martial art and Olympic sport known for it's dynamic kicking.
Hapkido is a self defense art that emphasizes circular motion, redirection of force, and control of an opponent.
